Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear refund levels, cancellation timelines, and rescheduling guidelines for all travel products.

1. Timelines and Refund Rules

If a participant requests cancellation of a confirmed booking, the refund amounts are governed by the following schedule:

30 Days or more before preferred departure date 90% of total package cost
Between 15 to 29 Days before preferred departure date 50% of total package cost
Less than 15 Days before preferred departure date Strictly 0% / Non-Refundable

2. How to Request Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via an email containing your invoice Reference Code to book@ghumnechalein.com. Verbal communications, WhatsApp texts, or chat requests are not recognized as formal cancel notifications.

3. Mountain Weather & Force Majeure Cases

For severe hazards, landslides, cloudbursts, heavy rainfall, military blocks, or road blocks affecting our scheduled routes: Ghumne Chalein does not issue cash refunds. Instead, we offer a Rescheduling Credit Voucher of equivalent value, valid for 1 full year, which can be applied to any alternative trip in our catalog.

4. No-Show Terms

If a traveler does not report at the designated meeting point at the departure time, they shall be classified as a "No-Show." No refunds, adjustments, or rescheduling credit vouchers will be issued under any circumstances.

5. Processing Timelines

Approved cash refunds are processed back to the original funding account (Bank Account / UPI / Card) within 5 to 7 operational working days from the official cancellation approval date.
